"Teleports both the user and nearby enemies into a separate dimension, which can be toggled between ice or lava. While active, the user's defense and speed is increased, certain attacks will no longer knock them back, and their normal attack is replaced with a special attack that matches the dimension."
Ame no Minaka is one of the Secret Techniques in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, as a part of Season Pass 6.
Properties[]
The user activates their genjutsu, and completely changes the surroundings to the inside of a volcano, and staggers all opponents nearby - being able to freely swap between that setting and an icy tundra by pressing the respective Ninjutsu buttons. The user also gains a speed & defense boost during the Secret Technique, as well as Super Armor for 30 seconds total.
During this state, the user's regular attacks gain elemental properties depending on the dimension - fireballs for the volcano, and balls of ice for the frozen wasteland.
Usage Tips[]
Ame no Minaka is best used during Flag Battles, to bring as many enemies into the dimension as possible, and give the ally the clearest shot towards the enemy goal, or Base Battles, to clear out the area for your ally team to retake bases or build meter on the bases they already have. Additionally, due to the buffs provided by Ame no Minaka for the user, it makes it easier to rack up kills in Combat Battles as well.
Because the map(s) are connected, Ultimate Jutsu such as Kirin, activated via a scroll, can stil affect those within Ame no Minaka. This makes it possible for allies to help their own party.
