Hidden Jutsu: Sukunahikona is one of the Ninjutsu in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, as a part of Season Pass 5.
Properties[]
Sukunahikona absorbing projectiles
The user activates a genjutsu that puts them into a state where for 10 seconds, they will be completely invulnerable to projectiles, whether it be Ninjutsu or Ninja Tools; if hit by a projectile, it will disappear into a puff of steam and the user will take no damage.
Sukunahikona going into Time Space Hop
However, if hit by a close-range attack or a close-range Ninjutsu, the user will teleport away with a red-tinted Time Space Hop, staying in that state for 8 seconds. Unlike Sharingan, the user's equipped Substitution does not change the effect of this attack.
Sukunahikona's follow-up
Additional input will have the user conjur a cluster of black staves a targeted enemy, increasing their Ninjutsu & Substitution cooldown times for 8 seconds on contact, causing a hard knockdown too.
This Jutsu's first stage cannot defend against:
- Summoning: Great Snake
- Universal Pull
- Amaterasu
- Inferno Style: Flame Lightning
- Summoning: Blade Dance
- Flash Slice
- Shadow Possession Jutsu
- Tsukuyomi
Usage Tips[]
The Defense Class' answer to Sharingan. While it can be treated very similarly, one has to remember that they will use Time Space Hop when hit by a physical attack, as it can leave you wide open if you try to continue to attack afterwards. Otherwise, use it to your advantage to fake opponents out or put some of the aggro on you so your allies can escape.
With the follow-up, like with Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, the best course of action is to try and land the attack when the opponent has either finished their last attack, or is staying still regardless of circumstance. If paired with a binding/paralyzing/stunning Ninja Tool (i.e Scientific Ninja Tool "Smoke Flash", Scientific Ninja Tool "Cooling Breeze", Scientific Ninja Tool "Glimmering Flames" etc.) or Ninjutsu (i.e Wood Style: Silent Strangle Jutsu, Water Prison Jutsu, Lightning Style: Thunderclap Arrow etc), landing this attack will be a lot easier, and could potentially finish off any stray enemies.
