"A Genjutsu of infinite loop. Resets enemies' beneficial effects, position and cooldown gauges except Secret Technique. It also resets allies' harmful effects. An additional input breaks the loop, restrains enemies, revives allies, and seals the user's ninjutsu for a period."

Izanami is one of the Secret Techniques available to use in Shinobi Striker, as a part of Season Pass 4.

Properties[]

The user casts a genjutsu where, after 10 seconds, the first effect automatically is activated and enemies will return to their position from that amount of time ago and resets their ninjutsu stocks (unless they are executing an Ultimate); this also includes any negative effects on them during those few seconds - also applies to allies and any positive effects, such as speed or attack boosts. The returning of positions does not apply to the ally team.

Additional manual input puts all enemies to sleep, resets their Ninjutsu stocks, Substitution stock & Ninja Tools, and revives any recently deceased allies. However, it blocks use of the user's Ninjutsu and also obscures the left side of the screen for 8 seconds. The second activation only occurs when the first loop starts.

This technique ends after the user inputs the additional command, or after a further 10 seconds have passed.

Players activating a Secret Technique will not be affected (e.g. Hidden Mist Jutsu).

Usage Tips[]

A Secret Technique that can turn the tides of a match, activate it when you know at least one person has a negative effect - and use it AFTER a technique that buffs the enemy team, such as Kurama Link Mode or The 100 Healings Jutsu. Similarly, activate Izanami when you yourself don't have any debuffs applied.

When activating the second part, try to use it out of harm's way - even though it does stun enemies for a short time, the obscuring of the screen could prove disastrous in the worst of situations.

The blindness caused by activating the second part of Izanami can be negated by activating the Byakugan immediately before. This will allow the user to see and lock on to targets, though their ninjutsu will still be locked. Hidden Mist Jutsu will not affect the user for the 8 seconds( won't even suffer the blindness).
