"Commands the Truthseeker Orbs to unleash a beam forwards. Deals damage to all targets hit. Hold the button to increase the uptime of the beam. The beam's direction can be controlled."

Truth-Seeking Scorch is one of the Ninjutsu in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, as a part of Season Pass 6.

Properties[]

The user points forward, directing a beam of electrical energy in a straight line. If the user holds the button while using the Ninjutsu, they can freely aim the beam in any direction, albeit slowly.

This Ninjutsu can be used in the air. This can penetrate, but not destroy Water Style: Water Pillar, though it can pierce Sand Shield.

This attack will not hit enemies using Karma Linchpin (Strange Taste), but can hit enemies within Flying Raijin: Guiding Thunder. It will disable Hidden Jutsu: Sukunahikona.

Usage Tips[]

At all stages, the user is still susceptible to taking damage, and will be taken out of the move if hit by anything. Thankfully, the stopping time is very quick, so immediate danger can be avoided quickly. Despite seeming like a long-ranged jutsu, it's sometimes better to use this jutsu as a part of a combo or following-up on an enemy standing up from a knockdown, making full use of its immense damage potential and ability to lock-down a target while mitigating its vulnerabilities.

If you are to use this jutsu at range, make sure you won't be interrupted mid-use, as otherwise the potency of this jutsu will be greatly diminished.

Trivia[]

  • Upon release, this Ninjutsu has an exploit where the host of the current match will not receive all the potential damage from the beam and will actively spin out after a certain period when hit by Truth-Seeking Scorch.
