Vanishing Rasengan: Full Moon

"Launch two types of Rasengan of varying size to deal damage. Pulls in targets within a certain range on hit. Holding the input will charge the attack, dealing more damage and increasing its size. Charging will increase the pull's radius and extends the pulls' duration."

Vanishing Rasengan: Full Moon is one of the Ninjutsu available in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, as a part of Season Pass 7.

Properties[]

The user creates a Rasengan in their right hand, firing it at a targeted opponent. While active, the projectile gains a vacuum effect, drawing in enemies.

When used in its base form, it turns invisible after a second while tracking the opponent. However, the user can charge the attack; if they hold it for 2 seconds and beyond, the size of the Rasengan increases, as well as the damage output and amount of hits dealt. While charging, the user cannot move, but gains Super Armor until they launch the Rasengan.

This ninjutsu can be used in the air, cannot be hit out of with light attacks, and tracks targeted opponents. It can pierce:

Susano'o Armor
Sand Shield (max charge)
Water Style: Water Pillar (max charge)
Earth Style: Mud Wall Jutsu (max charge)
Wood Style: Domed Wall (max charge)

Usage Tips[]

For the first Rasengan-style Ninjutsu for the Ranged Class, it's a very reliable tool that has a LOT of options. With the Super Armor feature - similar to Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame, you can take a good few hits before sniping an opponent with the base level projectile.

If you catch any opponents using defensive Ninjutsu (e.g. Water Style: Water Pillar & Sand Shield), this is a great tool to catch them out and make them rethink their strategy, especially if you have any other armor-piercing tools (i.e. Scientific Ninja Tool "Purple Lightning", Shurado etc.)

That being said, don't get overzealous with the armor properties, as lots of attacks can pierce it (namely Octopus Hug, Kurama Twin Impact & Karma) - if you know an opponent has a tool or technique that can negate the armor, use it sparingly, or charge the Rasengan from afar.
